Garden Paintings

Kendahl Jan Jubb's garden paintings originate directly outside the door of her studio in her own flower garden. Fields of multi-colored beds surround her as she imagines garden paintings and still life paintings comprised of her homegrown flowers. Tulips, lilies, phlox and irises, they are all there calling to be included in another fantastic, yet completely animated, creation complete with rock pathways and dense, dark backgrounds of greens. Kendahl also zooms-in on intimate portraits of luscious, yet solitary, buds, petals and flower combinations in her most coveted garden paintings.
